present projects

Now, I am actively involved in the following projects namely;

1) Writing for and distributing a new business magazine titled “THE ENTREPRENEUR.” In the writing aspect, my column is saddled with the assignment of putting together tips and ideas that would help the reader achieve success in his business. I also put together write-ups on untapped business gold mines. I also oversee the distribution of the magazine in Ogbomoso, a town located in Oyo state. In addition, I am involved in packaging their training programs that is just starting now. I hope that before I launch SMI, I would be able to contribute greatly to the achievement of the company’s goals.

2) In addition, I am involved in organizing sensitization seminars for a new multi-level marketing program called IFA, put together by Clientele life, a South Africa based firm to sell their insurance products. By joining this company, I am laying the foundation for TSI (Team Success International), a network of multi-level marketers dedicated to helping each other achieve financial independence through Multi-level marketing and eventually equipping each other with the necessary knowledge that would help them remain rich and grow richer. Members of this team would then come together to form an investment company.

I cannot say more on present projects but you can contact me for more information

PAST PROJECTS

I have participated in the organization of several seminars aimed at improving the thought pattern of Nigerian youth there to better their lot and ultimately contribute to the actualization of the Nigerian dream. Below is a list of those programs and a brief description of the aims and objectives.

1) Personal Finance Planning (sept 2007)

The aim of this program was to project the financial habits and characters of those people who started their empires from the scratch and went on to build multi-million naira empires. Put together by Ideate Consult Ltd, it took place in Osogbo, the capital of Osun state for about a month. Professionals in the field of investment groomed the students, artisans, entrepreneurs etc that attended. Participants learnt about the importance of savings, investments amongst other things. They also learnt of the available investment vehicles and the parameters to consider before choosing an investment vehicle. It was a wonderful time.

2) Repositioning the Christian youth (October, 2007)

This church program took place at the Redeemed Christian Church Of God Osun Province 1. It aimed at pointing out the lost characters that account for the decadent condition Nigerian youth find themselves. The two-day program attracted eminent men of God like the Provincial Pastor of R.C.C.G.Osun province 1 Pastor Dele Balogun, Pastor Dayo Adeniyi and other anointed men of God. It was concluded with a prayer session calling on divine assistance to help put Nigerian youths in their right position in the world. It was a great success.

3) Forex and Multi-Level Marketing Seminars (Nov 2007- march 2008)

This was aimed at creating awareness about the moneymaking ventures newly introduced to the market at that time. Forex trading was internet based and it provided a positive alternative to internet crime as such, it is in line with the aims and objectives of SMI. It also helped reduce the population of unemployed youths in Nigeria (am sure banks breathed a sigh of relieve). For multi-level marketing ventures, we promoted them with a view of empowering participants with the rudiments of successful marketing of hose ventures. Numerous participants of our programs are still Forex traders to day and they are making profit and catering for their families.

4) I was also invited to the Osogbo Internet Community, a group of internet businesspersons who met every weekend to fine-tune their internet business strategies. I was to teach internet marketing and other things like blogging, web deign, e-book design and creation, effective internet browsing to mention a few. We always had a nice time until the meetings had to stop due to logistics problems. Now, efforts are being made to resurrect the Osogbo Internet Community.

In addition, I have written books (though not published yet) and numerous articles that are available at www.successmagnets.blogspot.com. I have mailed some of them to newspapers and magazines but I am not sure they were published. Time and space may not permit me to itemize all the programs I have been part of but I am sure the ones stated above shows my program preference and my dedication to this goal I have set for myself. I would be glad if I am invited to be part of programs that help to achieve the goals of SMI in the future and would be most glad if people show interest to join this success crusade.

Introduction

I am someone who is very interested in the Nigerian dream. This is because of the fact that I am a Nigerian no matter what I do. Because of this, I have given the development of this country very serious consideration and have discovered that the journey towards the ‘new Nigeria’ we all want must start in the minds of the citizens of this glorious country. This is only when we can achieve a development built on a solid foundation. For instance, survey shows that despite the numerous multi-national companies present in developed countries say America, their economic growth depends on their small and medium scale enterprises. This means that there is evident development in the minds of their citizens. Until we emulate such ideals, we may never achieve all the grandiose plans we have for the economy of this country. The political arena in this country mostly needs the mind revolution I am talking about because it would spill over to every other aspect of the Nigerian project. If you doubt me, endeavour to listen to political aspirants in developed nations and compare their thinking pattern to that of their Nigerian counterparts.

Having said that much it is imperative to identify the thinking patterns in the minds of Nigerian citizens harmful to the actualization of the Nigerian dream and the ones that enhances the actualization of the Nigerian dream. No English word better encapsulates the needed thinking pattern than ‘Success’. When individuals develop the thinking pattern of people who have achieved lasting success, the cumulative effect would be that the Nigerian nation would be successful. Helping Nigerian youths develop this thinking pattern thus became an overwhelming goal for me.

In the course of pursuing this noble goal, I discovered that people have been attempting to speak to the conscious minds of Nigerians without considering their subconscious minds. This has achieved little result because change begins with the

sub-conscious minds of the people. We are talking about abolishing internet crime and we still have songs that eulogizes the vice playing on our airwaves. In addition, so much affluence is displayed on the streets everyday with reckless abandon. We want to abolish immorality and even our leaders flaunt immorality in the face of the youths. Entertainers are the most affluent ones in town these days as such they become automatic role models. However, the dressing and behaviour of some of them is such that even the devil will shout blood of Jesus if he encounters some of them. All our movies talk about is rituals, prostitution, violence, hate, betrayal etc the list is endless. Are we not the undoing of ourselves? My submission is this; if people dress in a certain manner because our role models they see on TV are doing such, we can as well use this means and other ones available to project success through hard work and other virtues to them, and gradually, we will begin to notice pleasant results.

This resulted in Success Magnets International, an organization dedicated to promoting the possibility of success and its requirements through campaigns, TV and radio programs, books, movies, songs e.t.c. We are also involved in capacity building to empower youths with information and everything they need to achieve success in all areas of their lives. It is a newly proposed organization but the founders have been partaking in programs aimed at achieving the aims and objectives of the proposed organization. We also have projects that require sponsorship that we would share with you in subsequent blogs. Contact me to contribute your own quota to the actualization of the Nigerian Dream
